We Care About Our Oceans

Adventure X Boat Tours is Committed to Education & Conservation

We feel it is very important that we do our part in promoting safe and healthy practices of reef conservation. It starts with the sunscreen we wear and the products that go into the trash at the end of the day. Simple things like promoting reef friendly sunscreen (available to buy at the time of check-in) or eliminating the use of plastic water bottles are all little ways that we can make a huge difference in the health of our oceans.

Not only do we model healthy practices, but we will encourage and educate others to do the same. “Our purpose is to not only have a great time out on the ocean but to gently teach our guests simple ways that they too can help contribute to the long-term health our oceans and the marine life that lives in them,” says Captain Casey.

Volunteers at the Heart Ranch

Heart Ranch

Not only do we strive to make a difference in our oceans, but we feel it is necessary to make a difference in our community. Heart Ranch is a community non-profit we are committed to help financially fund and serve. Some of our staff have been volunteering at Heart Ranch for over 5 years. We believe in what they do to help our keiki on the Big Island, and during our whale season, we will be selling the most delicious chocolate candy bar on board our boat, as a fundraiser.

We will be selling Big Island Crunch Bars on board all of our trips for $4.00. 100% of the profit will be donated to a local horse and child partnering program called Heart Ranch. It’s mission, that can be found on its website www.heartranch.org, is as follows :

“The focus of Heart Ranch is to provide a safe environment for children to grow and develop character. We do this by partnering one leader, one horse, and one child each session. We believe this personal learning environment helps build up the child in all areas of life; physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We recognize each child is unique and we at the ranch work to help with each individual’s needs. We do all of this for every child…free of charge.”
