Discover the beauty of Puako! Start your morning with a Dolphin Viewing and Turtle Snorkel
This Dolphin Viewing and Turtle Snorkel is a beautiful way to experience the west side of the Big Island. Start your morning off with a dolphin cruise along the incredible Kohala Coastline. You can see the most breathtaking views from the ocean of 5 different volcanoes on a clear day! We will cruise along the coastline also pointing out the best beaches to visit while on Hawaii Island!
Upon searching the ocean, we come across the magical spinner dolphins where we get to watch them interact and play. This is a great opportunity to take unforgettable pictures, and many times our dolphins love to put on a show. You will learn about our friendly Spinner Dolphins from our naturalists onboard.
After our visit with the dolphins, we will take you to a beautiful snorkel location. The location will sometimes vary based on the conditions. Our favorite place to take you is our turtle cleaning stations, where you get to discover the magic of the incredible coral reef, as well as the wildlife. Not only can we have turtles but also Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, as well as many kinds of fish! We will include all gear necessary for this activity. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear as well. We will have dry storage for you onboard our vessel.
A picnic of snacks including fresh pineapple will be served after the snorkel! Cold drinks include La Criox, Ginger Ale, Fresca, Hawaiian Juice, and bottled water.
We are very close to all of the resorts in the Waikoloa Resort area including the Hilton, Kingsland, Marriott, Mauna Lani Auberge, Fairmont, Westin Hapuna, and Mauna Kea Beach hotel.
We do require everyone to know how to swim if they are planning on going in the water during the snorkeling section of this activity. You are not required to participate in this activity if you choose to stay on the vessel.
Please note that Dolphins and Turtles are both wild animals. We have great success in finding these animals however, they are wild. We go to great lengths to find these animals, but as they are wild, none of the sightings are guaranteed.
