Combine the best two activities! Whale Watch and Snorkel!

Experience one of the Big Island’s most unique ocean adventures—combining two incredible activities in a single tour. Departing from Kawaihae Harbor, we head straight into the Kohala Coast whale nursery, where mothers and calves thrive in the shallow waters. Further offshore, you may witness a competition pod, as males vie for attention. Every tour is different, with new behaviors and unforgettable moments that keep everyone engaged.

Our captain and crew provide fascinating commentary throughout, sharing facts, stories, and insights about humpback whales, their songs, and their behaviors. With decades of experience, we bring fresh energy and excitement to every trip, helping you create once-in-a-lifetime memories.

After the whale watch, we’ll take you to a stunning snorkel location, often at our favorite turtle cleaning stations. Explore the vibrant coral reef and encounter sea turtles, eagle rays, manta rays, and a variety of colorful fish. All snorkeling gear is included, and you’re welcome to bring your own; dry storage is available on board.

Snacks—including fresh pineapple—and cold beverages (La Croix, Ginger Ale, Fresca, Hawaiian juice, bottled water) are provided. Don’t forget sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen!

Conveniently located near the Waikoloa Resort area—including Hilton, Kingsland, Marriott, Mauna Lani Auberge, Fairmont, Westin Hapuna, and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel—guests from Kona are also encouraged to make the scenic drive up the Kohala Coast. With whales all around, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
